'Tis the wedding season

Let the Love Celebrations begin!!!

Two of my best friends and my cousin (who just got married last February) are all getting married!  I'm so excited and feel so lucky to be able to be a part of their very special days!

Next up ..... my sweet girl Katie Kemple's, soon to be Mrs. Katie Kemple Thomas, whom I've been best of friends with since the good old college days . 

Her wedding will take place in my old stomping grounds on Cape Cod and I couldn't be more excited to see her walk down the aisle and marry the man of her dreams. I think it's so important to see those moments in the lives of those you cherish and I am so proud to be able to be there to offer my love and support!

Congrats to my girls, you all deserve it.  For you- here is my wish!

May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields and, Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I finally dragged myself to Bikram yoga last night and am so glad I did.  

Though I took it quite often in NYC, it's been awhile.  And now, I haven't felt this great in a long time!  Sweating and stretching in the 100 degree heat sure makes you feel like you're light as a feather and as strong as an ox.  It is equally calming and deeply meditative- right up my ally!

I am going to do this for lent.  Rather than give "up" something, I am going to give myself the gift of something healthy and the challenge to push past my limits.
